I can almost smell the fragrance of the tree. And the blue sky is a welcome site.
Thank goodness for evergreens at this time of year. Your picture reminded me of a site at the hospital while I was having breakfast. The fog had frozen on all of the trees and the sun was just coming out, making the white limbs shine beautifully! It didn't last long as the sun was able to melt the ice, but it really was stunning. I was wishing I had a camera in my built into my retina.
that is a super cool shot, and about the most interesting picture of a pine tree I've seen, perhaps ever.
sure gold, choose ever green over amber waves. whatever.
i agree with alex - very original shot. though it sorta reminds me of the craken; poky needles instead of suction cups. yikes either way.
