chelsea cannot wait for her first pair. she's already informed me that her 6th birthday is going to be a ballerina party. perhaps we can schedule it for when you can come out to attend, as a REAL ballerina!
Do you still tear up when you look at them? I know that was a very important part of your life for a while. Perhaps you just look back with fondness now?
@ dad: yes, ballet was an extremely formative part of my life. but i'm pretty sure i've never teared up just from looking at old pointe shoes.
